Attention grabbing moments!
I saw the original production of Stomp in NY about 20 years ago. I took my wife for our anniversary to the Moore Theater to see the current version. It was very good but there was less dancing in this version than the original. I wish they would have spent longer with the trash cans and pails as that's some of the most exciting parts. The dancers were excellent and especially the one guy that was the comedic dancer.
The Moore Theater seats are quite uncomfortable and very narrow. They were OK for my wife and myself but some larger people needed a shoe horn to squeeze in and were quite uncomfortable, judging from their shifting positions and raising their bodies up from the seats. I don't think I'd go back to the Moore Theater unless they upgraded their seating.
